You have up to three years to complete the qualification, but our aim is to have every learner qualified within 18 months.

When does the next cohort start?

Our November cohort (Cohort 3) starts with an online onboarding session on Monday 16 November 2026. Workshop days follow on 18 November, 24 November, 1 December and 3 December.
What are the exact dates?

Onboarding: Monday 16 November, 7:30–8:30pm. Day 1: Wednesday 18 November, 9:00am–4:00pm. Day 2: Tuesday 24 November, 9:00am–4:00pm. Day 3A: Tuesday 1 December, 9:00am–12:00pm, Levels 5 and 7 together. Day 3B: Thursday 3 December, 1:00–4:00pm, Level 7 only. Further cohorts start on 24 February 2027 and 15 June 2027.
How much does it cost?

The price is £2,250 per person. The first 10 people to enrol get the programme for £1,750, saving £500. Payment plans are available over six months.

Your qualification pathway includes an Individual Spotlight session and your copy of your Spotlight, at least 12 one-to-one coaching sessions with an ILM Level 7 executive coach, an individual development plan, access to Communities of Practice and ongoing mentoring after the programme. All ILM fees are included within the single cost.
Is it accredited?

Yes. Both qualifications are accredited by ILM, the Institute of Leadership & Management, and quality-assured through internal verification on every programme.
What is the difference between Level 5 and Level 7?
+
Both qualifications build your coaching practice, but they differ in depth and commitment. Level 5 involves two and a half days of learning, slightly less coaching practice and a written write-up. Level 7 involves three days of learning, a greater coaching practice requirement and a deeper, more critical approach to your work. Level 5 suits managers and emerging coaches building their first foundation. Level 7 suits experienced leaders, coaches and consultants who want to work at executive level.
Which level is right for me?

Choose Level 5 if you're an established manager or leader who wants to coach with more depth and structure. Choose Level 7 if you're a senior leader or experienced coach working at executive or system level. Not sure? Book a short discovery call and we'll point you to the right one.
Who can enrol?
+
You don't need a previous coaching qualification, but you do need to be ready to coach. You should be in a role where you coach, mentor or lead others, or plan to do so; be able to commit to the learning days and approximately two to three hours a week of study and practice; have access to people you can coach during the programme; and be comfortable with reflective writing, as your portfolio is a key part of the assessment. For Level 7, meaningful experience in leadership, coaching or a similar field is expected because the programme is pitched at senior practitioners.
Can I spread the cost?

Yes. You can spread your payments over six months, so the investment fits around your cash flow or your employer's budget. If your organisation is funding you, Veralta can work with your finance team on invoicing.
What support will I get?

Alongside the learning days, you receive one-to-one coaching from Veralta throughout your qualification, on average one session a month. You also have access to the alumni community. The purpose is to give learners personal support throughout the qualification, rather than leaving them to complete the work alone.
What happens if I miss a learning day?

If you miss a day or half day, you can join the same session on the next programme intake. You won't lose your place or progress, and you won't pay again for the session you catch up on.
How long will it take me to complete?

You have up to three years to complete the qualification. The aim is for learners to qualify within 18 months. Your monthly one-to-one coaching is designed to help keep you progressing throughout the qualification.

Where will I find people to coach?

Finding coachees is part of becoming a practitioner. Most learners source practice clients through pro bono coaching, often via LinkedIn and their own professional networks. Your one-to-one coaching and alumni community are there to help you get started and share what has worked for others.
